Iredell County 4-H Trouble Shooters

Description

The Iredell County 4-H Trouble Shooters began with their first Archery Practice in August of 2014. We started with 14 archers and practiced twice monthly. Today we practice weekly and rotate between Archery Rifle and Shotgun. We now have five certified instructors and carried two archery teams one junior rifle team and one senior individual to Regional Tournament. We currently practice Archery in two locations. One is an indoor range owned by a local family the other is a dirt bank behind the Agricultural building. We practice firearms at the local F.O.P. range. We currently have 16-18 youth per practice and will shoot at least ten rounds rifle and ten rounds trap. To date we have purchased ammunition and clays through funds raised via the Wild Turkey Federation and other grant sources. We are at capacity with what ammunition we have.
