The Baden-Powell Council Boy Scouts of Americaprovides a program for young people that builds character trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness.CubScouts - boysages 6-10 participate in archery and bb gun shooting sports at councilCub Scout Day Camps and Cub Scout Resident Camps and at year round Cub Scoutactivities. Boy Scouts -boys 11-18 participate in .22 rifle shooting shotgun shooting and archery at Tuscarora Scout Reservation in the foothills of the Catskills and .22 rifle shooting and archery at Camp Barton near Ithaca and at othercouncil events.Venturing/Sea Scouting - young men and women 14-21 participatein .22 rifle shooting shotgun shooting and archery at Tuscarora Scout Reservation and Camp Barton (no shotgun) and at other council activities.
