It is open to ALL girls and boys11-18 years old. They need not be associated in any way with a club member orany organization.It is a continuous program that progresses frombeginner to as high as the shooter wants to achieve up to and includingnational championships collegiateand Olympics.9.5ptfont-family:Arial">Braintree Rifle and Pistol Club is affiliated with the NRA NCAA USA Shooting GOAL and CMP/DCM. Show up on this or any Friday nightat 7pm year round. We give a 45-60 minute orientation/instruction to newjuniors finishing at about 8:30PM. From 8:30-9:30PM live fire and rangetraining is conducted with new juniors. After the 1st night of orientation thehours are 7:00-9:30 every Friday night. Juniors come and shoot instruction/coaching is provided as needed or requested. They have use ofthe range and equipment for these hours on Friday evening and need not stay theentire time or come at a fixed time after the first session.The NRA 4 position and American Rifleman QualificationPrograms are supported as is the BSA Rifle Badge Program. We have a BSACounselor/Instructor in house. Girl Scouts JROTC Sea Cadets and school teamsare also welcome. Large groups (more than 4) must contact me first so thatadequate range coverage can be ensured. Range officers are always present asare experienced shooters and instructors. Parents instructors and adults areencouraged to help with the program. Arial">Total program cost is $20 per year and includes use of clubrifles (Marlin 2000 International Standard Rifle) ammunition (22LR) spottingscopes slings gloves and targets (USA50 A-17 A-36). The course of fireis indoors at 50 ft.
