31st AnnualCAJRC 2016 NRA Junior Rifle Competition CampMay 28-30, 2016, (Memorial Day Weekend) Salem, Oregon.Please join us for the 31st Annual NRA Oregon Shooting Sports Camp held at the Four Corners Rod and Gun Club and sponsored by Colonel Allison's Junior Rifle Club. Two days of training and practice will be followed by a match on Monday the 30th, allowing the shooters to utilize their new skills.Special thanks to the NRA Foundation for their continuing support in keeping this camp affordable for the participants. Please support a Friends of the NRA banquet/fundraiser near you.Please spread the word, as this will help make it a terrific camp! Sporter Air Rifle (outdoor range), Precision Air Rifle (Advanced and Intermediate line, if there is enough interest), and Small Bore shooters will all benefit from our great coaches and classes. This is also a great time for beginning shooters to learn shooting sports. Limited club equipment is available for those without their own equipment. Please indicate on your application what equipment you will need to borrow.We definitely want you to come to Salem and have fun this Memorial Day Weekend!Classification: Based on your scores submitted and pending approval by the selection committee. Applicants must be 12 yrs. of age or older to attend camp.Equipment: Match rifle (Small-bore, Precision Air or Sporter Air), mat, scope, sling, glove, eye/ear protection, warm clothing, rain gear, etc.Ammunition: Recommended 2 bricks/1,000 rounds. .22 LR Standard velocity.Ammo will be available for sale at the camp.Pellets are available at $12/container/500 pelletsLodging: Because of liability issues, there will be noOn-site RVs or camping.Transportation: To and from the motel is each shooter's responsibility.Meals: Lunch and snacks will be provided each day to registered shooters. Lunch is available for those not registered for a donation. Breakfast and dinner are NOT provided. There are a number of nearby options.Arrival: Check-in is from 7:30-9:00 am Saturday, May 28th at the upper range.
