Camp Batel Ranch is an LDS Young Women Encampment and serves girls ages 11 through 19 from northern Colorado, southern Wyoming, and western Nebraska. Located about 20 miles southwest of Laramie, WY in the mountains west of Tie Siding, WY. The camp is open ~12 weeks per year with group sizes ranging from 150 to 300 young women and their adult leaders. The camp has a humble 50ft rifle range where each girl shoots approximately 25 to 50 rounds each session, which equates to 50k to 100k rounds per year. My name is David Riddle and I serve as the Rifle Range Committee Chair. We require each group to provide NRA certified RSOs and Rifle Instructors.
