Cecil County 4-H Shooting Sports Program

Description

The Cecil County 4-H Young Guns Shotgun Program is open to youth ages 8-18 and is a program within the University of MD Extension 4-H Youth Development Program. Our mission is to teach responsible and safe gun handling while having fun shooting clay targets.We practice approximately 3 times per month throughout the year at our host gun club the Oxford Gun Club at 880 Chrome Rd Oxford PA 19363.Youth will learn while practicing 4 disciplines of clay target shooting trap skeet sporting clays and 5-stand.The Cecil County 4-H Archery group meets in Elkton.During the winter the group meets monthly and during the spring and summer they meet twice a month.The archery group participates annually in the State 4-H competition in the Fall.Come join us it's a blast!
