De Pere Sportsman’s Club Junior Rifle

Description

The De Pere Junior Rifle Program strives to encourage young boys and girls to get involved in a shooting sports program. The shooting season starts in mid-September and runs through April. The juniors meet on Thursdays where they are part of a team of marksmen that focus on learning the skills of marksmanship sportsmanship fire arms safety and the importance of being a positive member of their community. The juniors are instructed in both smallbore and air rifle. The De Pere Junior Rifle Program was started in 1955 and continues to be very active in the local as well as national matches. The De Pere Junior Rifle Club yearly host both the Junior Wisconsin State 4P and 3P Championship as well as the Wisconsin Junior Olympic Competition.
