Description
YHEC is a program developed by the National Rifle Association (NRA) to promote outdoor skills and safety training for youth with or without experience in hunting. Participants learn about hunting methods safety and game species as well as improve upon their skills. Our YHEC day will include the disciplines of rifling archery and shotguns. We will also have three responsibility classes: orienteering hunter safety trail and wildlife identification. As a part of our learning we have also included reloading hunting dog dog first aid demonstrations as well as a Vietnam War encampment.
