The IHCC Sports Shooting Team is a varsity athletic sport, participating in the disciplines of trap, skeet, & sporting clays. There is both a fall and spring season competing in the ICCAC conference, and other SCTP competitions. IHCC’s home ranges include the Ottumwa Izaak Walton League, and the Appanoose County Shooting Club, only 5 minutes from each campus. Hills’ provides practice targets & shells, competition entry fees and ammo, required memberships, uniforms, transportation, meals, and lodging while on the road. There is no cost to student-athletes, all that has to be furnished is a shotgun. Scholarships available.
