The Jones County 4-H S.A.F.E. Modified Trap Shotgun club is a volunteer ran specialty club of Jones County 4-H. The team is made up of students currently in 7th-12th grades. Before joining the team, each interested student must complete their Hunter Safety course and attend a safety meeting with our coaches. Practices begin in February and go through May where 30 practices are offered to our participants. We compete in a district qualification match in April, and students who qualify advance to the State competition in May.
