Description

We are a youth shooting sports organization with our enthusis on shotgun sports. We are a non-profit group with our 501©3.We teach gun safety and marksmanship through weekly practices and hold 10 shooting competitions each year for our participants. We are open to all youth 18 and under. We follow the NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program where each shooters tries to better their performance over time.We also break our youth into age groups and give trophy’s and awards in each age group. The Monroe High School Trap Club shoots in our league and the school offers a “Trap Letter” to each member that fulfills certain criteria. That criteria being a 1000 bird minimun for the season participation in our annual community service project and a 1.8gpa or above (same for all high school sports). What we really love about our program is that we see our youth members grow in skill and confidence.Because shooting is a family affair we are seeing families become closer and stronger as they share in every accomplishment their child is making.I have parents tell me “My child was shy and never had any friends until we joined this group”It is really a proactive program giving youth a constructive thing to do with their time and really keeping them out of trouble and striving for great things.Great things like state and national championships junior olympic and college shooting teams.Last year our group shotmore than 36 000 registered birds. We shot in the Michigan Trap Association The AIM?ATA State competition and the Grand American Trap Shoot in Sparta IL. e areouth shooting sports organization with our enthusis on shotgun sports. We shot in the Michigan Trap Association The AIM?ATA State competition and the Grand American Trap Shoot in Sparta IL.We
