The Longhouse Council Boy Scouts of Americaprovides a program for young people that builds character trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness. Cub Scouts - boysages 6-10 participate in archery and bb gun shooting sports at councilCub ScoutCamps and at year round Cub Scout activities. The Longhouse Council owns a 20 foot mobile BB Gun Shooting Sports trailer which is used year round at events.Boy Scouts - boys 11-18 participate in .22 rifle shooting shotgun shooting muzzleloading and archery at Sabattis Scout Reservation and at other council events.Venturing - young men and women 14-21 participate in .22 rifle shooting shotgun shooting muzzleloading and archery at Sabattis Scout Reservation and at other council activities.
