Martins Creek Shooting Team

Description

Martins Creek School is in Cherokee County NC. The team was started late last year with the help of Principal Paul Wilson and myself Elliott Southworth. I live around the corner from the school and my wife works for the Cherokee County Schools. We're following the NC Division of Wildlife program format and the disciplines I'm working with the kids on are 22 rifle trap shooting with 12 or 20 gauge archery etc. We have 13 kids that have passed the Hunter Safety course to be eligible for the team. I've secured a practice location in the field adjacent to and owned by the Belleview Community Center and we've been practicing for several weeks.
