Description
Newton County Shooting Sports Program is in its infancy focusing on rifle shotgun archery air rifle and hand gun. This program is new to county residence and is striving to expose and develop youth in the shooting sports. The goal of this program is to advance youth to competitive levels while enjoying the experience of shooting and their future as shooters and leaders in the community. With every new program there are limitations of resources including ammunition. This program depends heavily on grants and programs to move beyond infant stages.
