North iowa youth outdoor adventures and shooting sports

we are a non profit 501 c 3 youth conservation and shooting sports organization.we hold 2 or 3 hunters education certification classes every year.we are also the certified 4-H Shooting Sports program for Mitchell County with instructors that are 4-H certified in archery muzzle loading and shotgun as well as the Mitchell County 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator.we run the summer4-H trapshooting program as well as the youth summer trapshooting program for all youth the north iowa.This program is open to all north iowa youth ages 11 thru 18 as long as they have had hunters education class.Shells and guns are provided thru grants that we receive.Kids can bring their own guns but we provide all shells. Guns are provided if needed. The trapshooting is held at the Mitchell County Trap Range west of Osage Iowa. We also hold archery muzzleloading and nature activities throughout the year.Activities and information are available on the facebook page of North Iowa Youth Outdoor Adventures and Shooting Sports Inc.The coordinator director holds a bachelor's degree in natural resources and wildlife and is a naturalist and certified outdoor recreation instructor that has had training living and studying in the back country of Alaska and Wyoming in the field of youth recreation and outdoor adventures as well as being trained in all youth shooting activities and survival.
