Pioneer Gun Club Junior Marksmanship Program

Description

Pioneer gun Club has a Junior Division of which I am the Director. We meet regularly every Thursday night except the second Thursday of each month. We teach the NRA Marksmanship Program with 22 caliber target rifles using the four positions on a regular basis. We also teach 3-P Air Rifle and International Air Rifle. In the fall months we teach .22 caliber handgun for the Junior Olympic Sports Pistol Program. For those interested we also teach hi-power rifle using AR-15's on loan from the MSSA (state association). For the past several years we host the Missouri State Junior Olympic Competitions in 3-P Smallbore International Air Rifle Air Pistol and Sport Pistol. We also support a shotgun program for those interested that is run by another director. The senior club has an archery program that we encourage those interested to participate in. As a program we furnish the rifles ammo and other target equipment to the youthsin our program. the only muzzleloading we offer at the current time is through our YHEC program.
