Thegoal of the Polk County 4-H Shooting Sports Programis to educate youth about firearm safety responsibility sportsmanship and team work. In addition youth have the opportunity to learn think critically improve their skills and develop confidence and positiveself-esteem. The objectives of this program are to give youth the opportunityto explore shooting sports in a safe environment and increase and maintainenrollment in the shooting sports project.Activitiesinclude practice sessions club meetings local and state competitions andeducational workshops.
