Description

We have an extensive 4-H shooting sports program that covers many disciplines (Shotgun Rifle, Muzzleloader, Western Heritage and Pistol). The focus of all 4-H programs is the development of youth as individuals and as responsible and productive citizens. Youth learn the safe and responsible use of firearms marksmanship and much more. The activities of the program and the support of caring certified adult leaders provide young people with opportunities to develop life skills self-worth and environmental stewardship. We meet from last Sunday in September through June every year. Our club participates in a 4-H Statewide Mail-In tournament for all shooting disciplines and from there kids can qualify to shoot at the State Shooting Sports Contest in June. We also have a County Fair for all the disciplines for our youth.
