Description
Roosevelt County 4-H Shooting Sports is an organization with members that vary in age from 9-19 that enroll in shooting sports projects each year. Roosevelt County 4-H shooting sports allows those youth to become educated in the importance of safe firearm handling. It also allows those youth to interact with one another while learning valuable life lessons that revolve around the shooting and hunting industry. These youth get to practice and learn from New Mexico State University Certified Shooting Sports instructors. In a safe and controlled environment during their practice sessions. They can practice and compete at County, District, and State level competitions through this program. We, as Roosevelt County Shooting Sports, are not trying to develop champion shooters in our county. Our primary focus is creating champion youth.
