Description
The SE Guilford FFA Hunter Safety Team is compiled of students from Southeast Guilford High School and Southeast Guilford Middle School. This program teaches hunter safety instruction and firearm safety to high and middle school students. The rules and regulations are defined by the NC Wildlife Hunter Education Program. The goal is to promote hunter safety knowledge and firearm safety to high school and middle school students. Our objective is to properly instruct the students in order to increase their accuracy and confidence in the four disciplines of hunter safety competition. The four disciplines are: shotgun, small bore rifle, archery and hunter skills. We strive to reach our goal and objective by having weekly practices in all four areas in preparation for local, district and state competitions.
