Description
Susquehanna Dusters is a Youth Shotgun Shooting Team that participates in the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Amateur Trapshooting Association’s AIM program. The team is comprised of young men and women (6th-12th grade) who wish to develop their shooting skills and learn to compete in Sporting Clays and Skeet tournaments.
Based in the Northern Maryland and Southern Pennsylvania region, the Susquehanna Dusters utilize different clubs in the area to give the youth athletes experience shooting on different courses. SCTP certified coaches work with the youth to help them practice gun safety, improve their skills, compete and have fun!
The primary focus of all Susquehanna Dusters activities is SAFETY. The program goals are to teach the safe handling and use of firearms, provide a supportive team-based environment that emphasizes positive character traits and citizenship values and, to introduce young people to shooting sports that can be enjoyed for a lifetime
