Description
A 5-day Conservation Ecology Camp for boys and girls ages 11 to 16 held the last week in June (21st - 25th) at the Eagle Bluff Environmental Center Lanesboro MN. Where we mix environmental education with a lot of fun. Students experience: high ropes course canoeing raptors reptiles trout hatchery tour phenology pollinators native grass habitat outdoor survival and orienteering star gazing soil biology forestry aquatic invasive species archery stream lab fly tying fly casting trout behavior. Every night at the campfire we read stories from Aldo Leopold and on Sunday students go fly fishing shoot 22's and shot guns. Camp is provided to all types of students. Students with disabilities low income and families who's parents are serving overseas.
