The team is a part of the NC Wildlife Resources Commission Hunter Safety Education Team program.We participate in Archery, .22 Rifle, Trap, Orienteering and Written Skills competitions sponsored by the Commission.Facility and Team sponsorship is through the Watauga Gun Club.
