Our 4-H Youth Shooting Sports program engages in thedevelopment of self-confidence personal discipline responsibility teamwork self- esteem and sportsmanship. The disciples and self-control required forresponsible firearms and archery use will carry over into many other aspects oflife.Worcester County Maryland 4-HShooting Sports includes:Each discipline teaches safety concentration self-discipline self-confidence goal-getting decision-making and buildtoward more advanced activities.Programs allow for development of individual cooperative andcompetitive skills. Participants are exposed to local policies regulations laws and ethical behavior both by repeated demonstration and thorough personalpractice.
