Zia Rifle and Pistol Club, Junior Division

Description

Club Junior division provides education and training for junior members to participate in practices and matches for the NRA junior olympic shooting program, 4H rifle, shotgun, and pistol programs and provides indoor range support for BSA scouts needing that type of facility to complete their firing qualifications for the rifle merit badge for BSA troops in the local area. We conductfire arms safety education, marksmanship practices, and conduct competition matches for the juniors to compete in. We assist the local 4H programs by offering our 6 point indoor range for their practices and competitions and loaning eduipment to support those activities on an as needed basis.
