Description
We are located outside of the Atlanta area. Our school system is a Title 1 system. We are in our 4th year of Sporting Clays with the SCTP. We also started a skeet team last year, but were closed down due to COVID. Our program started with 4 students and has grown to 14 this year with many more interested. Central High school offers rising 7 - 12 graders an opportunity to join a sport and introduce them to gun safety. These students learn shooting awareness, collaboration, teamwork, and explore opportunities to further their education through a college with a shooting sporting. These students not only compete several times a month, but they also learn about giving back to our community. Our team is involved in civic service projects each year. This year we are in jeopardy of not being about to have a season due to shell shortage. We desperately want to get on board with this fabulous resource. We have been shooting Federals the last few years.
