Detroit Sportsmen’s Congress Junior Shotgun

Description

Junior Athletes learn to shoot clay targets with a shotgun, in a safe, competitive controlled environment, under the guidance of our certified SCTP adult coaching staff.

1. Teaching the safe and responsible handing and use of firearms.
2. Providing a team-based fun program with a focus on youth development.
3. Introducing young athletes to a sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime, one that offers a level playing field and one that offers all family members an opportunity to enjoy together.

American Disciplines of Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays, along with the Olympic disciplines of Bunker Trap, Trap Doubles and International Skeet are available.

All athletes must be academically eligible to participate in the MI SCTP sports program.
