Our membership numbers are around 70 - BUT we always welcome new enthusiasts from our county or surrounding counties that do not have programs. We provide instruction in the following Discipline areas: Archery Air Rifle Smallbore Rifle Air Pistol Smallbore Pistol Muzzleloading Hunting and Outdoor Skills and Western Heritage/Cowboy Shooting. Participants gather in January and February for a 6 hour Safety Class (740) where members learn safe gun and bow handling skills and sound fundamentals of shooting. February through September we are on the range practicing shooting skills and LIFE skills with all members receiving AT LEAST 10 hours of formal instruction. Throughout the year there will be opportunities for members to participate in competitive and recreational shooting activities so we stress good sportsmanship and good ethical behavior. The success of this program can be attributed to the guidance and knowledge of 36 caring Certified 4-H Shooting Sports Volunteer Leaders. Highest on our priority list is SAFETY but we also live by the 3F's which are food FAMILY and FUN.
