Description
The Newberry Junior Pistol Club teaches youths firearms safety. Our primary focus is pistol training but we also shoot some rifle and shotgun. We utilize the NRA/Winchester Marksmanship Qualification Program to measure shooters progress and give awards. We have participated in the Progressive Positional Pistol Program since it's inception that allows even the youngest shooters to compete. Our older shooters compete in Olympic style competitions and NRA style bullseye. We have had shooters competing on the National level every year with numerous shooters winning National awards and medalling at the USA Jr Olympics.
