We are part of the TexasYouth Action Shootout community. TYAS is part of the Scholastic Action ShootingProgram (SASP). We provide a safeenvironment for our Texas youth to learn safe firearms skills in a competitive environment.SASP is designed toinstill in young people a set of personal values and character traits for fairplay compassionate understanding individual responsibility sportsmanship self-discipline and personal commitment. As the sport itself these qualitieswill stay with them throughout their lifetimes helping each young athletereach his or her full potential.• Youthmayparticipate using .22 rifles .22 handguns and/or centerfire handguns.• Targets are steel circle or rectangular plates.• All courses of fire are timed events.
