Description
This program introduces middle and high school students in Watauga County including Homeschools and Public Schools to the many benefits of shooting sports as well as North Carolina's Wildlife Management Program while emphasizing the importance of safety. We strive to educate members in firearm safety and ethically sound hunting practices, thereby developing better educated and responsible sportsmen, and women, of the future. The program consists of four disciplines in which members have the opportunity to participate and compete. These disciplines include archery, rifle, shotgun, orienteering, and hunter skills.
